Philippines.. What seems to be the problem?

A PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN A SWORD.. a classic line from a well known english author Edward Bulwer-Lytton.

Why did i start with this line if i intent to discuss something about the Philippines? because i want to look deep down the roots of the problem of the filipino nation.

If you are a shallow, short tempered and narrow minded person, stop now.. i dont need any comments from you. if you are still interested in reading this post.. you might as well broaden your mind to some new concepts and theories..

I may not be credible enough to discuss this topic, i may have some grammar error while writing this blog entry, i may have wrong spellings and incorrect punctuation marks, i may not have the degree or whatsoever, but like everyone
else in our country i have the freedom to write what i want to write.

PILIPINAS.. much better, i like the sound of that..i have been away from my country for 4 year.. 4 long years and i have realize what great nation our country was.. i not stereotyping or ridiculing other races. I'm just so proud
of where i came from..

Some of the filipinos hate to be one, they said that our country is not great.. well let me tell you this. a country will not be a country if there were no inhabitants in the said area... and a country is not a mere land. it is
compose of people.. and these people who are ashamed of their roots are cowards
and ashamed to be themselves and 100afront to the Filipino nation.. i mean what is there to be ashamed of?? that we
have a corrupt political system, juvenile delinquents yada.. yada.. yada..
yawn.. yawn.. yawn.. OMG were not the only country that suffers from these
problems. there a lot of other places that suffers from malnutrition, incurable
illness, killings and many many more.. so what is there to be ashamed, i know
there are people who judge people because of their colors and ethnicity.. but
hey.. arent u educated enough to ignore those low blows...

Before we start to pointing our golden fingers on politics on everything we see.. y dont we reflect on our selves first and then if we have done nothing wrong.. i mean absolutely nothing wrong.. then start criticizing.. always remember that if you
point a finger 3 more fingers are pointing back at u...

Anyway.. thats not my point actually, im just expressing what i feel bout those dumb ass.. all am saying is the country is not the problem, so why do we hate the country so much that we get to the point that we deny our ethnicity.. our roots...
havent u think that the country is merely a victim of its inhabitants??

I'd like to tackle specific points but i dont have that much space, so i'd focus on the different areas of discrimination that is so blunt in our country.. Filipinos discriminating other Filipinos. This is just sad..

Here are the types of discrimination that makes me wanna scream.. read and learn..

1] Physical/Racial Discrimination, if u see someone who dresses differently we immediately say.. promdi, bisaya or jologs.. even if you came from bel-air, white plains or where ever planet it may be, doesn't mean that you're a better person that they are. People like these who discriminate according to what they see are assholes and jerks. they put down a person so they can feel better about themselves.. cowards.. wake up people!! Always remember this before discriminating a person.. there will always be someone who is prettier, smarter and richer. So.. what's the point of making a poor judgment of someone..

2] Work Discrimination, must be a college graduate, must have a degree of some sort, people who have a tattoo doesn't need to apply, must eat fire, must fly.. another big YAWN!!!.. if you are applying for a doctor, engineer, accountant or any other position that need specialty and of course you need to have a degree or license of some sort.. but tattoo?? if you are applying for a receptionist position and you have a big tattoo in your face then yes its quite disturbing but if its somewhere hidden why not right?? the tattoo will not work.. the person will.

3] School Discrimination, these happens everyday, i'm not stereotyping but most of the student who studies in a high profile schools tend to bully other student who studies low profile schools, did it ever occur to them that maybe these people simply cant afford to enroll in such school?!!

There many kinds of discrimination.. but whatever type it may be.. its just pathetic..
