Isang seryosong usapan

San Andres

ok lang sa mga nde maniniwala, believe me.. i was there and it was really scary!! so here it goes..
i happened 5 years ago in san andres manila, around midnight or something, im not sure bout the exact time.. me and my friends were chillaxing in a basketball court it was getting kinda boring so we decided to go to pearl’s place, one of my friend roxie was pregnant that time. pero makukulit talaga kami…
pearls’ family owns a sari sari store, balak naming maginuman sa kanila kaya dun kami pumunta. ok naman ung haus nila, pero ung sa room ni pearl medjo eerie ung feeling kasi ung floor is made of old wood then there’s this huge window na sira, although meron naman xang screen but still it was sira.. tapos sa likod nun was an old junk yard.. as in totaly madilim and nakakatakot..

then un nga.. nde pa kami makatulog so nagkukulitan kami, after a while may narinig kaming tik tik sound.. it was coming from the right side of the house away from the window, nde namin xa minind.. so tuloy pa din kwentuhan namin..
after a while may narinig na kaming parang nag land sa bubong nila, so nagsimula kaming matakot, kasi wala ngang sarahan ung bintana natatakot kami baka biglang bumulaga nalang samin kung anu mang creature un..
then it got silent again.. tapos ung tiktik nasa right side naman ngaun pero nde na ganon kalakas ung sound.. after a while narinig namin someone was scratching the walls.. ung sa labas nung bintana… imposibleng may makakapanik na pusa or tao dun para i-scratch ung dingding ng haus nila kasi wala naman pwedeng tungtungan..
wo what we did.. nag kumpulan kami sa kama nya, then kumuha kami ng malaking gunting.. kasi sabi nung friend ko takot daw cla dun dahil pamputol sa dila nla or something..
tumigil lang ung visitor nung malapit ng magumaga.. akala nga namin papagalitan kami ng mom ni pearl kasi ang ingay namin.. we dont want to disturb them naman kasi nakakahiya.. then nung bumaba kami sabi nung mom nya “may aswang kagabi” the pearl retorted “panu mo nalaman?”
sabi ng mom nya…
“kasi ung lana (some kinda oil na nag bu-bubble pag merong malapit na aswang)bumubula kagabi”

Vladimir

do you believe that whenever we get attach to something, we also get attached to every strand of its existence??
well i do, something happened to me 5 years ago, it wasn’t that scary, well i wasn’t scared but my family was..
i started when my aunt lend me her apartment, it was owned by my family, we have this 4 story house. at the front is where my aunt lives and there’s this small entrance on the side to go to the apartment area. we got like 7 studio’s, my other aunt owns one b/r apartment on the 3rd floor that she let me use while she was away.. my aunt was staying in jeddah by the way so she rarely use it..
it was really cozy, everything i need was there, there was a kitchen, bedroom and a bath.. i even got my own lady to do the cleaning and the laundry for me once in a week. it was a dream come true for every college student like me. so i have time for my extra curricular activities.
Before i move in to her place, im always out with my friends and i rarely go home, and whenever im home my friends always stay in my place to sleepover or something.
My aunt’s place was vacated for 4 years or so, it was an old bodega that she decided to turn into a apartment.

as i stated earlier i wasn’t at home all the time but when i move into her place, believe me, i rarely go out, when i want to have a party or something, i always ask my friends to come over and do it at my place. it was very unusual coz im a party animal and i would miss a chance to got out and have some fun..
most of the time when im alone, i don’t feel scared coz that the last thing i want to be.. but there’s this feeling that your being watch by someone or something, i just don’t entertain the thought coz im one scardy cat!!
at night when im about of sleep i feel like someone is peeking out of my toilet and watching me, so what i do keep my radio on and my lights on so i can go to sleep, its like distracting myself from the scary thought..
The more i stay in that place the more i get away from things.. there’s like these force that let me so comfortable and so attached it doesn’t want me to go anywhere.. sometimes i miss school, Sunday masses and even parties which is very unusual..
my grand parents hate the place, coz they feel that whenever they stay there for more than an hour something or someone is repelling them, like IT doesn’t want them to be there.. not only them but other grownups as well..
one night one of my friends decided to stay over, so we were chatting and making jello.. at the kitchen there’s a window where you can see if someone is knocking. we were busy making jello and laughing when suddenly someone knocked we were dumbfound coz it was 3am and we were not expecting anyone. we peeked at the window but there’s no one there. we were sure we heard someone knocked 3 times!! she was really scared but i told her to get over it..
then one fine afternoon i just arrived from school, my neighbor was like really shock to see me he asked me if i just arrived, and i said yes, he said “i thought you were home coz someone was playing loud music inside” i was really shock coz the only key for that place is with me and since its in the 3rd floor its impossible to climb up the building. so i told him “manong wag mo naman akong tinatakot..”
these last incident was the cherry on top, i dont know if its a nightmare or something coz in 1 year that ive been staying on that place, i never had any nightmares..
so i was sleeping on the couch one lazy afternoon, i didnt have hard time breathing or difficulty in moving, i was relaxed when this guy went on top of me, he was smiling, he wasnt really scary, he was white tall and handsome but the thing is he had fangs like a vampire. he was asking me how am i and i said i was ok and he was telling me he liked me and stuff.. when i asked his name he said VLADIMIR.. right after he said his name with a blink of an eye i was awake but in the same position and situation as i was in my dream or what ever it is was. on the back of my mind i kinda liked him..
after this incident, i started having abdominal pains. we went to a doctor and they said nothing was wrong with me, i was like dying in pain but they cant detect what was the cause of pain. we been to 3 hospital and they told me the same thing.
then my family decided to consult a quack doctor or as we call it albularyo.. the albularyo said that something wants me, and the bad thing is that this something knows i want him too, i dont know why but i was really drawn unto him. the albularyo said that its was just a matter of time before he takes me.
the session lasted for like an hour, she let me drink water with like little salt and she was chanting on it before she gave it to me to drink. and believe it or not, i felt relieved.
after that incident, they blessed the house and let my little cousin stay with me.. vladimir never bothered me after that.. and i know my life was back to normal.. :D

Spoon - Words of Wisdom

A holy man was having a conversation with God one day and said, ' God ,
I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.'

God led the holy man to two doors.

He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in.

In the middle of the room was a large round table.
In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled
delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly.
They appeared to be famished.

They were holding spoons with very long handles, that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach
into the pot of stew and take a spoonful.

But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.

God said, 'You have seen Hell.'

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one.

There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water.

The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing
and talking. The holy man said, 'I don't understand.'

It is simple,' said God . 'It requires but one skill.

You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.'

Its estimated 93% won't forward this. If you are one of the 7% who will, forward this with the title '7%'.

I'm in the 7%

Remember that I will always share my spoon with you.

Lessons on Life
There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.
The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in
summer, and the youngest son in the fall.
When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.
The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.
The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.
He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.
If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.
Moral:
Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don't judge life by one difficult season.
Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or
later.
Forward to all your friends, including me. And don't tell me you're too
busy for this. Don't you know the phrase "stop and smell the flowers"?
See how many "bouquets" you end up with!
Happiness keeps You Sweet,
Trials keep You Strong,
Sorrows keep You Human,
Failures keep You Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But Only God keeps You Going!

An Interesting Little Story

The Power of Prayer

We all know our prayers are heard...............

This beautiful story was written by a doctor who worked in South Africa .

One night I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but in spite of all we could do, she died, leaving us with a tiny, premature baby and a crying two-year-old daughter. We would have difficulty keeping the baby alive, as we had no incubator (we had no electricity to run an incubator). We also had no special feeding  facilities. Although we lived on the equator, nights were often chilly with treacherous drafts. One student midwife went for the box we had for such babies and the cotton wool that the baby would be wrapped in. Another went to stoke up the fire and fill a hot water bottle. She came back shortly in distress to tell me that in filling the bottle, it had burst (rubber perishes easily in tropical climates). 'And it is our last hot water bottle!' she exclaimed. As in the West, it is no good crying over spilled milk, so in Central Africa it might be considered no good crying over burst water bottles. They do not grow on trees, and there are no drugstores down forest pathways.

'All right,' I said, 'put the baby as near the fire as you safely can, and sleep between the baby and the door to keep it free from drafts

Your job is to keep the baby warm.'

The following noon, as I did most days, I went to have prayers with any of the orphanage children who chose to gather with me. I gave the youngsters various suggestions of things to pray about and told them about the tiny baby. I explained our problem about keeping the baby warm enough, mentioning the hot water bottle, and that the baby could so easily die if it got chills. I also told them of the two-year-old sister, crying because her mother had died.

During prayer time, one ten-year-old girl, Ruth, prayed with the usual blunt conciseness of our African children. 'Please, God' she prayed, 'Send us a hot water bottle today. It'll be no good tomorrow, God, as the baby will be dead, so please send it this afternoon.' While I gasped inwardly at the audacity of the prayer, she added, 'And while You are about it, would You please send a dolly for the little girl so she'll know You really love her?'

As often with children' prayers, I was put on the spot. Could I honestly say 'Amen?' I just did not believe that God could do this.

Oh, yes, I know that He can do everything; the Bible says so. But there are limits, aren't there? The only way God could answer this particular prayer would be by sending me a parcel from the homeland. I had been in Africa for almost four years at that time, and I had never, ever, received a parcel from home.

Anyway, if anyone did send me a parcel, who would put in a hot water bottle?
I lived on the equator!

Halfway through the afternoon, while I was teaching in the nurses training school, a message was sent that there was a car at my front door. By the time I reached home, the car had gone, but there on the verandah was a large 22-pound parcel. I felt tears pricking my eyes. I could not open the parcel alone, so I sent for the orphanage children. Together we pulled off the string, carefully undoing each knot.

We folded the paper, taking care not to tear it unduly. Excitement was mounting. Some thirty or forty pairs of eyes were focused on the large cardboard box. From the top, I lifted out brightly-colored, knitted jerseys. Eyes sparkled as I gave them out. Then there were the knitted bandages for the leprosy patients, and the children looked a little bored. Then came a box of mixed raisins and sultan as - that would make a batch of buns for the weekend.

Then, as I put my hand in again, I felt the.....could it really be? I grasped it and pulled it out. Yes, a brand new, rubber hot water bottle. I cried. I had not asked God to send it; I had not truly believed that He could. Ruth was in the front row of
the children. She rushed forward, crying out,

'If God has sent the bottle, He must have sent the dolly, too!' Rummaging down to the bottom of the box, she pulled out the small, beautifully-dressed dolly. Her eyes shone! She had never doubted!

Looking up at me, she asked, 'Can I go over with you and give this dolly to that little girl, so she'll know that Jesus really loves her?' 'Of course,' I replied!  That parcel had been on the way for five whole months, packed up by my former Sunday school class, whose leader had heard and obeyed God's prompting to send a hot water bottle, even to the equator. And one of the girls had put in a dolly for an African child -five months before, in answer to the believing prayer of a ten-year-old to bring it' that afternoon.'

'Before they call, I will answer.' (Isaiah 65:24)

When you receive this, say the prayer. That's all you have to
do. No
strings attached. Just send it on to whomever you want - but do send it on.

Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. There is no cost, but a lot of rewards.

Let's continue praying for one another.

This awesome prayer takes less than a minute.

Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this. I ask You to minister to their spirit. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence to work through them. Where there is tiredness or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, guidance, and strength. Where there is fear, reveal our love and release to them Your courage. Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it. I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name.
Amen

P. S. Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend will bless you both. Passing this on to one not considered a friend is something
Christ would do.

Bob Ong's Philisophy on Love w/ Comments..

Isa lng ang sagot ko sa lhat ng yan, each of us have our own opinion, our own truth that we want to believe in, at some point circumstances are alike but at some level each person has its own way of dealing, coping , accepting, rejecting and interpreting or questioning the validity of one’s thought.

Bob Ong's Philosophy on Love.

1. "Kung hindi mo mahal ang isang tao, wag ka nang magpakita ng motibo para mahalin ka nya.." –
what if ikaw wala kang intension, interpretasyon nya e may motive ka???

what if ung hawak mo eh nagpupumiglas, gusto mo bang masaktan cya sa tindi ng hawak mo.. don’t be selfish.. it’s better to be give more.

3. "Huwag mong hawakan kung alam mong bibitawan mo lang." –
How would you know if you wouldn’t try… eto neng pra sa mga taong wlang intension na maging seryso sa buhay

4.. "Huwag na huwag ka hahawak kapag alam mong may hawak ka na." –
I’ve no comment.. ‘ human ‘ oh human so fragile, to weak “ un lng

5. "Parang elevator lang yan eh, bakit mo pagsisiksikan ung sarili mo kung walang pwesto para sayo. Eh meron naman hagdan, ayaw mo lang pansinin." –
We always wanted the easiest way. Kahit minsan ipinagsisiksikan pa rin natin ang sarili natin kahit wala ng space kasi we want to fulfill something that is within us… wehehehe!!! ( wanting someone pushes us to our limit and exceeds far beyond our expectations)

6. "Kung maghihintay ka nang lalandi sayo, walang mangyayari sa buhay mo.. Dapat lumandi ka din." –
ayan tuloy nagkakaron ng mga single mom at desperate housewives… kasi sa paglalandi nila they forgot small bits of info na kailangan nilang malaman until such they were hook into it...( oo nalimutan magbilang kung kelan safe at gumamit ng helmet )

7.
"Pag may mahal ka at ayaw sayo, hayaan mo. Malay mo sa mga susunod na araw ayaw mo na din sa kanya, naunahan ka lang." – I do beleive when you truly love someone your love will never fades, and gagawin mo lahat whatever it takes... (nawawala it’s the concern and the care ung hindi nawawala kc alam mo na may pinagsamahan kau)

8. "Hiwalayan na kung di ka na masaya. Walang gamot sa tanga kundi pagkukusa." –
Honestly when you are in a relationship, pagsinabi mo na di kana masaya, admit it, masaya ka with the person you love it so happen nakikita mo ung mga flaws nya against you, pero come to think of it, hindi ka nagpapakatanga when your experiencing it, nagmamahal ka lng and you cannot think na malapit na itong mag-end.( paano mo masasabing ngmamahal ka kung di ka Masaya? Db kya ka pumasok sa relasyon para maging Masaya at hindi maging miserable ?,) and the point is still you chooses to let go kc nga di ka Masaya dhil kung Masaya ka you will opt to stay.

9. "Pag hindi ka mahal ng mahal mo wag ka magreklamo. Kasi may mga tao rin na di mo mahal pero mahal ka.. Kaya quits lang." –
i’ve no comment.. trulala

10. "Kung dalawa ang mahal mo, piliin mo yung pangalawa. Kasi hindi ka naman magmamahal ng iba kung mahal mo talaga yung una."
What if, you’re just trying to escape from your excuses kaya ka nagmahal ng iba, what if akala mo love ung pangalawa pero blinded ka lang kasi nasasaktan ka?.. ( one you may need and the other one you may only want ) so I go for what I need coz the things I want sometimes changes.

11.
"Hindi porke't madalas mong ka-chat, kausap sa telepono, kasama sa mga lakad o ka-text ng wantusawa eh may gusto sayo at magkakatuluyan kayo. Meron lang talagang mga taong sadyang friendly, sweet, flirt, malandi, pa-fall o paasa." – isa lang sagot jan... “don’t take things personal” true ineng ..

12. "Huwag magmadali sa babae o lalaki. Tatlo, lima, sampung taon, mag-iiba ang pamantayan mo at maiisip mong hindi pala tamang pumili ng kapareha dahil lang maganda o nakaka TURN ON ito.
Totong mas mahalaga ang kalooban ng tao higit sa anuman. Sa paglipas ng panahon, maging ang mga crush ng bayan nagmumukha ding pandesal, maniwala ka." – I’ve no comment .. hmmmm

13. "Minsan kahit ikaw ang nakaschedule, kailangan mo pa rin maghintay, kasi hindi ikaw ang priority."  -
sabi nga don’t waste your time sa mga taong hindi ka pinagaaksayahan ng panahon, so nkit ka magpapaschedule… J  at bkit ka pa maghihintay ( me so gaga)

14. "Mahirap pumapel sa buhay ng tao. Lalo na kung hindi ikaw yung bida sa script na pinili nya." –
minsan kailangan ng mga extra to realize kung totoo nga bang may bida???  At minsan ginusto din nmn ntin maging extra?

15. "Alam mo ba kung gaano kalayo ang pagitan ng dalawang tao pag nagtalikuran na sila? Kailangan mong libutin ang buong mundo para lang makaharap ulit ang taong tinalikuran mo."
I’ve no commEnt , ah kc SEAMAN ! bwahahahah

16. “Mas mabuting mabigo sa paggawa ng isang bagay kesa magtagumpay sa paggawa ng wala”
I’ve no commEnt  , ay oo nmn a fight that is lost is never a lost for you had chosen to act something and does makes you a winner
17. “Hindi lahat ng kaya mong intindihin ay katotohan, at hindi lahat ng hindi mo kayang intindihin ay kasinungalingan” I’ve no commEnt

CoRRect …. Eh ano pa nga ba..

19. "Ang pag-ibig parang imburnal...nakakatakot mahulog...at kapag nahulog ka, it's either by accident or talagang tanga ka.."
CoRRect .. katangan bang magmahal? I believe everything has its own reason, parang pre destined lhat.

The Bathtub Test

During a visit to the mental institution, a visitor asked the Director, “How do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.  “Well,” said the Director, “we fill up a bathtub; we then offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub.”

“Oh, I understand,” said the visitor. “A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.”

“No.” said the Director, “A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?”

ARE YOU GOING TO PASS THIS ON, OR DO YOU WANT THE BED NEXT TO MINE?

The Pink Dress

Don't let your day go on without reading this first, no matter how busy you may be!!!

The Pink Dress

There was this little girl sitting by herself in the park.

Everyone passed by her and never stopped to see why she looked so sad.

Dressed in a worn pink dress, barefoot and dirty, the girl just sat and watched the people go by.

She never tried to speak.

She never said a word.

Many people passed by her, but no one would stop.

The next day I decided to go back to the park in curiosity to see if the little girl would still be there.

Yes, she was there, right in the very spot where she was yesterday, and still with the same sad look in her eyes.

Today I was to make my own move and walk over to the little girl.

For as we all know, a park full of strange people is not a place for young children to play alone.

As I got closer I could see the back of the little girl's dress.

It was grotesquely shaped.

I figured that was the reason people just passed by and made no effort to speak to her.

Deformities are a low blow to our society and, heaven forbid if you make a step toward assisting someone who is different.

As I got closer, the little girl lowered her eyes slightly to avoid my intent stare.

As I approached her, I could see the shape of her back more clearly.

She was grotesquely shaped in a humped over form.

I smiled to let her know it was OK; I was there to help, to talk.

I sat down beside her and opened with a simple, 'Hello.'

The little girl acted shocked, and stammered a 'Hi ' after a long stare into my eyes.

I smiled and she shyly smiled back.

We talked until darkness fell and the park was completely empty.

I asked the girl why she was so sad.

The little girl looked at me with a sad face said, 'Because, I'm different.'

I immediately said, 'That you are,' and smiled.

The little girl acted even sadder and said, 'I know.'

'Little girl,' I said, 'you remind me of an angel, sweet and innocent.'

She looked at me and smiled, then slowly she got to her feet and said,
'Really?'
'Yes, you're like a little Guardian Angel sent to watch over all the people walking by.'

She nodded her head yes, and smiled.

With that she opened the back of her pink dress and allowed her Wings to spread, then she said 'I am.'

'I'm your Guardian Angel,' with a twinkle in her eye.

I was speechless -- sure I was seeing things.

She said, 'For once you thought of someone other than yourself. My job here is done'.

I got to my feet and said, ' Wait, why did no one stop to help an Angel?'

She looked at me, smiled, and said, 'You're the only one that could see me,' and then she was gone.

And with that, my life was changed dramatically.

So, when you think you're all you have, remember, your angel is always watching over you.

Pass this to everyone that means anything at all to you.

Make sure you send it back to the person who sent it to you, to let them know you're glad they care about you.

Like the story says, we all need someone.

And, every one of your friends is an Angel in their own way

The value of a friend is measured in the heart.

I hope your Guardian Angel watches over you always..
